Sara Celeste Martin is an award winning filmmaker and cinematographer thats been featured in over 50 film festivals worldwide, which include the Vancouver International Film Festival, Hawaii International Film Festival, the Barcelona International Audio Visual film festival and many more prestigious festivals. She has won awards ranging from Best Experimental Short to Most Promising Filmmaker; and won her first film award at the age of 16.
She has worked on various projects which have included short films and a web series called “Off & Running” (that was featured at Paramount Studios in 2012) as an cinematographer, editor and writer. She also works on her own personal projects and is currently working on developing short/feature films that she hopes to showcase in more festivals and in theaters, worldwide. Sara is currently a media producer that is working on multiple projects, including music videos and experimental films.
Sara has studied CalArts (California Institute of the Arts) and received a BFA in Film/Video. She has also interned at Dreamworks Animation Studios, Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, Nickelodeon Animation Studios, Bureau of Magic and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. She is also an alum of the Film and Television Program of Orange County High School of the Arts (Class of 2011) and of the Film and Video Program at CSSSA (California State Summer School of the Arts – Class of 2009).
Her career goals include becoming one of the first female directors and cinematographers to win an academy award – and creating a vast portfolio of amazing works that depicts new environment and characters that will inspire and change the world.
