This is a film that explores an afternoon at the Huntington Dog Beach – and explores the unknown motives and personalities of the dogs that have been placed in this world of sea water and sand.

a note from the filmmaker;
It’s been over a year since I’ve made an experimental film – and it’s been because of many different challenges and obstacles in my life after graduating from my undergraduate program from CalArts. I’ve learned so much, in regards to owning a production company for a brief moment in time – and I’m currently being challenged to balance my life in the studio world and as a independent artist that wants to pursue collaborations and make new personal work, outside of the studio space. However, like many artist – it’s a struggle to find the time to make work – whether it’s super short/experimenting around with ideas – or wanting to pursue a much larger project that has a much bigger meaning behind it. Especially when you lose your creativity after being burnt out from working so long – for me personally, it’s demotivated me to pursue my experimental films. Luckily for me, I’ve been surrounded by incredible artists that were in a similar position and decided to start making super short films and posting them online. Without them, I would probably still have this footage on my computer and take forever to make something out of it. So, despite being super sick at the moment with a cold – I’m so happy to finally be making experimental films again and hopefully, I will slowly start to make more and release them on my vimeo channel – and film festivals in the very near future! Thank you so much for checking out my work – and I encourage everyone that is in a similar position as me – to just experimental with ideas/visuals and release work! With enough momentum, you can get yourself motivated to create bigger and better projects!
